Ceremony Venue

We have chosen the beautiful and historic Finsbury Town Hall for our ceremony and party. It is central, not too far from the Tube. The lines and stations are: Northern Line (Angel), Circle Line (Farringdon), overground train (Farringdon) and has lots of hotels nearby. During the day, the venue is the Urdang Academy of Dance. |

| Finsbury at one time had such a huge population that it had an MP in the House of Commons. Indeed it sent the UK's first non-white MP to parliament in the late 19th century. After WWII the population collapsed and the borough lost it's MP and council and merged with Islington. The nearby Exmouth Market area is a thriving community with lovely shops and fantastic pubs and bars. | |
